By using local WPITCOM Signage Suite 3 devices, these devices communicate with the cloud-based Signage Manager 3, enabling efficient and service-oriented monitoring of the local players.
The proactive monitoring option establishes a continuous monitoring mechanism, sustainably optimizing operational availability and service performance.
The optional inventory function allows for the centralized storage of installation data for individual devices and their connected displays, keeping the installation data up to date.
Digital signage networks typically comprise a large number of installed devices with varying performance levels and functionalities.
This can lead to significant administrative, service, and support costs, including reporting, troubleshooting, and service coordination.
The proactive monitoring of the WPITCOM signage product family can substantially reduce these costs. Devices automatically and continuously report their operational status and any emerging issues to the WPITCOM Signage Manager 3, allowing for immediate coordination and resolution.

Received problem reports from the local WPITCOM Signage Suite 3 players are collected and clearly displayed in the monitoring section of Signage Manager 3.
Hotline or service staff can be assigned and begin troubleshooting directly within the system, potentially using one of the supported remote support platforms, or forwarding cases directly to designated external service providers.
Thanks to this integrated approach, no additional programs are required. However, if needed, custom developments can be securely and precisely integrated, for example, via web services.
The data from local devices is often a crucial component for fast and targeted problem solving, particularly in monitoring and service – and it’s also essential for accurate documentation of the digital signage network.
WPITCOM Signage Manager 3 also requests data from the installed player(s) as needed and stores it centrally.
This data also includes, if available from the screen, the properties of the connected displays, such as type, serial numbers, and other information. This allows the data to be used to compare problem frequencies and concentrations – which can also optionally facilitate long-term planning.

WPITCOM’s new AI based Visitor counter (GDPR compliant) can be simply added to locations or devices in order to gain most valuable information about customer frequency and therefore now simply also combines visitor analytics to the advertising and promotion process. Multiple counters can be added to a location to support large malls or public transportation facitlies as well. The highly powerful, nbut interestingly cost efficient solution, opens new horizons, not only in advertising.
